So I finally went to skibowl this weekend and they had snow!! It was actually pretty nice up there but it was getting a bit foggy when we left. I've been dying to ski something steeper since Timberline doesn't exactly have a ton so that was a ton of fun!!! And now we're getting like four feet up there so maybe they'll open to outback again??? I've started working on my concentration pieces and have decided to do either really happy ones are more somber ones....not sure yet, I think it will depend on my mood (which revolves mainly on how much snow we get). I'm also thinking about doing some concentration pieces which are a bit more abstract but i'll have to see how it goes...

Also, does anyone who is going up to Skibowl/Timberline this weekend have a spare seat in their car? :)

I can't believe its already Sunday! And that spring break is in a month! (At least thats when I think it is...maybe i'm wrong...great thats when I need to finish that APH research paper....) I was planning on finishing a bunch of art this weekend, but sadly that didn't happen. I'm planning to do three little watercolors that all go together, as well as a larger painting, but i'm not sure what the subject should be...any ideas? Concentration Pieces!

 I can't believe its already second semester! The year has been going by so quickly! This weekend I went out to the barn a ton and worked on my concentration...

So here are my next two concentration pieces! I have a third one but its not completely done yet so i'll post a picture of it later. Can't wait to see everyone's!!

hey everyone! So I was so happy that this was a three day weekend, I couldn't handle only two days off! It was a pretty busy weekend, I went out to the barn for a ton of time, and spent about 4 hours total cleaning tack, woohoo! so exciting :P and I started my concentration pieces, one is going to be in watercolor and the other is in pastel.

Hey everybody!!!! so I some good news, I can now legally drive! on my own! yay!!! I realized about a week before winter break that I should probably do it rather soon, since my learners permit expires at the end of January :) anyways, it took about 20 min to do everything and the actual driving test lasted for approximatively 5 min, kinda makes me wonder who passes it? since i'm pretty sure my cat could pass that test... i've started working on my next concentration pieces, i'll give you a hint, one of them was made by someone who really likes cars (or really hates them, depending how you look at it). I hope there's snow!!!!!

So here is the gorgeous photo of my dad holding the poster that I gave him in front of his artwork, I was taking the picture so I couldn't really get in it...but anyways, ta da!

So it was great to see everyone's concentration pieces last week, they were all great! I've been looking around for some ideas for pieces and so far its been going well. This weekend we went up to Timberline and on the way I found some ideas for a piece and the WOA, so it was great! And it was great condition on saturday too, they were running the cat up to the top of palmer, so it was super fun! (its a snow plow with seats basically that takes you to the top of the run) it was sunny and gorgeous up there!! See everyone on monday! only two more weeks till winter break!!!
