Almost Done!!

As i'm sure you can see from the title I am quite happy that its soon to be summer, not that I won't miss ap, but I can't wait to go to Europe!!! and have warm weather for a change :D Hence the change in blog background, time to get into summer mode.... I  can't believe we're done with concentrations!! I was trying to think about what i'm going to do instead of working on art and aph, since our research papers are done this week too, and I had a really hard time wrapping my head around it...I don't even remember what I did with free time...
Anyways, here are some photos to help you forget that you are in oregon where it is currently raining and cold.

And I had to add a  skiing one, of course :)

So I was counting the days left until graduation in english class, quite productive for senior english, and we only have 41.5 left...crazyness. And kind of makes it even more stressful when I think of all the things that I need to do by then. But i'm super happy too cause that means I only have 43 days about till I get to go to Europe with Kathryn Gee!!!!! :) And also it should be about 48 degrees by then, anyone else sick of the whole cloudy/cold/raining weather? Next art piece i'm doing is going to be of the Made in Oregon sign :D and I think i'll make it long and have the city in the background...but i'm not sure yet, still trying to figure that out. See everyone tomorrow! Happy Art ya'll!

I can't believe spring break is over!!!!!!! I went to LA for about 5 days which was a ton of fun, but then I had to come back and do homework, yay. I went to the barn a ton too which was a ton of fun :D My concentration pieces were finished today, and I decided to do them in watercolor instead of oil pastels cause the one that I had started in oil pastels didn't turn out as well as I wanted. See everyone tomorrow! I'll try to add some photos of my spring break later, haven't found that thing to get them on my computer yet....

So I had huge plans to get a bunch of artwork done over the weekend before the crazyness of this week but I got sick instead and not much artwork got done :( oh well....guess i'll have a project when I go down to LA, along with my lovely research paper of course :) On the bright side I got a voice recorder for when I go interview people at Santa Anita, so now i'm totally legit. I can't believe we only have three more months of school, so weird....And did anyone else know that this weekend is daylights saving??? I had no idea, one hour earlier tomorrow is going to be so hard, definitely getting coffee. See ya'll tomorrow!

So I had just typed up a huge paragraph and then I accidentally deleted it!!! I know its supposed to save it but i couldn't find it...:(
Anyways! I can't believe we only have four more pieces due for our concentration pieces!!! Its crazy! Or thats it almost spring break :) I'm going down to LA to visit my family down there and work on APH, eww, i'm taking a suitcase down just for my books...but at least it will be sunny and warm so I can get a tan, or a sunburn in my case, while I work on it.
I think I've come up with my next are piece, I was thinking of doing a really tall and thin oil pastel of that one water fall I can't remember the name. But its really tall so it should look good. See everyone tomorrow!

So I was not expecting this concentration due date, but happily I already had started stuff so it wasn't too stressful. I went skiing this saturday at skibowl, which was a ton of fun but we had to leave kind of early which sucked. I'm not really sure where I should go with my concentration from here...I want to do some more landscapes so maybe I'll do more natural viewpoints or something. Any ideas?

So I finally went to skibowl this weekend and they had snow!! It was actually pretty nice up there but it was getting a bit foggy when we left. I've been dying to ski something steeper since Timberline doesn't exactly have a ton so that was a ton of fun!!! And now we're getting like four feet up there so maybe they'll open to outback again??? I've started working on my concentration pieces and have decided to do either really happy ones are more somber ones....not sure yet, I think it will depend on my mood (which revolves mainly on how much snow we get). I'm also thinking about doing some concentration pieces which are a bit more abstract but i'll have to see how it goes...
See everyone tomorrow! Do the snow dance! :P

Also, does anyone who is going up to Skibowl/Timberline this weekend have a spare seat in their car? :)
